Does Graston technique cause bruises/scars?

Graston technique is designed to treat only the bad scar tissue and adhesions after an injury. This tissue is living tissue and when it is broken down small blood vessels called capillaries can break and cause what looks like a bruise. This is all perfectly normal and part of the healing process.
